Job Title: Construction Intern (CI)
Reports to: Superintendent

Job Description: As a construction intern at G&G Enterprises, you will be placed on an active project site and work directly with the site Superintendent. Throughout the internship, interns will be given tasks that allow them to gain practical experience in the construction process while applying their knowledge and leadership to real-world challenges.

Responsibilities:

Support project team with day-to-day tasks, including project progress, scheduling, safety, and quality management
Review plans and specifications for assigned project
Participate in site walkthroughs to observe work progress, ensure safety compliance, and help identify potential issues
Gain practical experience by participating in all team meetings, project reviews, and training sessions, both on and off-site.
Become familiarized with G&G best practices and operational processes
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

Current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in Construction Science/Management from an accredited university
Valid interest in pursuing a career in Construction required
Previous industry internship/work experiences a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong positive attitude, ability to follow direction, take initiative, display desire to learn

Schedule:

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break; Overtime is not anticipated or authorized for this role.
